South Street Website
While working at the South Street Headhouse District, I helped keep the neighborhood’s website current, useful, and lively. Although the site’s core design was already in place, I handled ongoing maintenance: updating the events calendar, creating landing pages for timely news and happenings, keeping the business portal organized, and maintaining an accurate district directory. It was a great opportunity to work on a live community-facing site and apply my HTML/CSS knowledge to real-world content management and design updates.
Learning Projects
These three websites were created for my first web design course, where I learned the fundamentals of HTML and CSS by building from scratch. One site is a visual biography of Vincent van Gogh, one explains the basics of color theory, and one presents a simple interactive data visualization. Each project challenged me to explore structure, layout, and visual storytelling through code — and gave me space to experiment with design decisions while reinforcing the technical foundations of web development.
