Hand-Drawn Animations
Hand-drawn animation is where my love for illustration and storytelling come together. Inspired by the charm and artistry of children's animation — especially 2D classics like The Princess and the Frog — I approach every project with a deep appreciation for character, timing, and emotion. From storyboarding to keyframe animation, I’ve gained a strong understanding of the animation pipeline and enjoy bringing drawings to life in a way that feels expressive, playful, and full of heart. Motion Graphics
I have some motion graphics knowledge and skills from a course I took in college that taught the basics of After Effects, Premiere, and Photoshop (timeline animation). I enjoy motion graphics as a design medium because it is basically graphic design come to life and opens up a whole new avenue for how you can use design to communicate and represent things. The video below (click to play sound) is the final project I did for that class, where we were tasked with creating a promo reel for a digital design conference. The others are looping gifs I created for class assignments and Bloomers' social media.
